Damage to USB cables and headset ports usually occur as a result of dropping the headset while a USB cable is plugged in, attempting to pull the cable out at an angle, or neglecting to remove the cable before taking the headset away from the trolley or case. This can result in stripped wires, bent or snapped USB plugs, or the end of the cable being lodged in the USB port on the device. This can also occur due to improper use of the hand controllers when they are plugged into the headsets.
To make sure that the cables and the ports on the headsets and the USB charging hubs remain usable, please ensure that the USB cables are unplugged carefully and gently from the headsets at the time of use. Do not attempt to use the devices while they are still plugged into the charging station. We would also recommend that the class teacher is the one who deals with plugging and unplugging the headsets on each and every use. The same also applies to the hand controllers.
