ClassVR Software (Client) updates
Periodically Avantis will release Client updates which apply to all devices. Client versions should be reflected the same across all ClassVR devices. If you have received an alert in the portal notifying you of devices that have out of date software then you can check this from your devices page in the administration portal.
Updates once released will download and be applied automatically. There is nothing required for you to do apart form making sure the device is charged and has an active connection to the WiFi in order to download and apply the update. You will be able to identify the units in the portal as the version number will be highlighted in red text.
Updates should only take a few minutes to be applied and the device will restart to apply the changes.
NOTE : It's very important to make sure your devices are running the most recent Client release as this may contain various bug fixes and/or device improvements
Each client update will be accompanied by 'release notes' that are published at the time of release. This will offer a brief breakdown of what the client release contains or addresses.
NOTE : If your devices have been online and none of the devices are updating the visit the status page to check nothing is blocking access. https://status.eduverse.com/
