ClassVR Removing WiFi Networks from your Headsets

Removing WiFi Networks from your Headsets

If you need to remove old or incorrect WiFi credentials from your headsets, you have two options:
  1. Remove all saved Wi-Fi networks from the headsets, OR
  2. Remove just one saved Wi-Fi network.

To remove all saved Wi-Fi networks

This deletes all saved network information! You will need to re-scan any saved networks.

If you would like to delete ALL saved Wi-Fi credentials from a headset instantly, to 'start from scratch', you will need to scan this QRKey. Open the Scanner by looking for the blue Scanner icon and pressing the select button. Then look at the key below using the headset.

To remove just one saved Wi-Fi network

Open the Scanner on a headset by looking at the blue Scanner icon on the homescreen and pressing the select button.
Scan in the QR code below to get to the device settings.

To navigate around device settings you can swipe and tap on the trackpad on the right hand side of the headset.
Or alternatively connect a USB mouse to the full size USB port on the base of the headset.

Select WiFi (by tapping or clicking).

Select the WiFI network you want to forget the credentials for

Select and tap forget.

Afterwards you will still see the network SSID but it will have forgotten the credentials and will not attempt to connect to it.

Press the back (return) button on the left hand side of the headset twice to exit the device settings and get
back to the VR lobby.
