Using the Scanner

The ClassVR scanner can read QrKeys, which contain device settings and configuration information. For instance, connecting a headset to a WiFi network.

Launching the Scanner

Select the Scanner from the ClassVR tool bar, which is the lower row of icons in the home screen.




When the Scanner is launched, you should be able to see the camera preview as a large oval in the center of the screen:



Then find the QrKey you want to scan in the camera view, taking care moving around with the headset on. When the scanner detects a QrKey it will flash green and beep to let you know.



Once the QrKey has been detected, the scanner will return to the home screen and execute any instructions that the QrKey contained. A notification message may appear to let you know the outcome.
