Troubleshooting and known issues
There are currently no know issues with Delightex in use via the ClassVR portal.
Device, Browser & Network Requirements
- A computer with an up-to-date web browser (latest Chrome, Firefox, or Safari — Chromebooks included) or a mobile device with the Delightex Edu app, plus an internet connection.
- Mobile app: iOS 9+ and Android 4.4+. AR features additionally require a device with Apple ARKit or Android ARCore support.
- Schools with restrictive firewalls may need their IT team to whitelist specific domains/ports — Delightex references a dedicated network access requirements page for the exact list.
- If your Organisation has a very restrictive Firewall then these hostandmes may need to be allowed to communicate via the filtering you may have in place.

Do students need an account to use Delightex Edu, even just to view something in VR on ClassVR?
Yes. Delightex Edu is account- and class-based — every student needs an account joined to the teacher's class (via a class code) before they can create or open a Project, unless this is just a teacher led experience using pre-made tracks. When using the STEM content this process is automatic and will login through to the delightex system with no intervention required. See ### delightex article ##
A 3D model won't upload — what should the teacher check?
- Supported upload formats: STL, OBJ, GLTF, FBX.
- FBX uploads are limited to simple textures only (no normal, specular, or alpha transparency) and a 50MB file size cap.
- Delightex maintains a troubleshooting forum specifically for upload problems (http://forum.edu.delightex.com ).
A shared Project stopped being viewable — why?
Shared (non-Gallery) Projects are capped at 1,000 total views. Projects published to the public Delightex Gallery have unlimited views. If a class project shared via link has gone quiet, check whether it has hit the 1,000-view cap.
