Factory Reset – ClassVR Headsets
Applies to: CVR-155-A / CVR-255 / CVR-255-64 / CVR-355-128 (Xplorer) / CVR-655-128 (Xcelerate)
Overview
A factory reset restores your ClassVR headset to its original out-of-the-box state. This can resolve software issues but will erase all downloaded apps, software, and custom content.
If your goal is only to free up storage space, we recommend following the cache-clearing guide instead:
Clearing the Cache – ClassVR Support
Before You Begin
- Backup content if needed – all locally stored content will be deleted.
- Ensure you have your Wi-Fi QR code ready to reconnect the device after reset.
- After the reset, headsets already enrolled in an organisation will automatically re-enrol when connected to the internet and begin downloading required updates.
