Damage to USB cables and headset ports often occurs when a headset is dropped while a USB cable is plugged in, when the cable is pulled out at an angle, or when the cable is not removed before taking the headset away from the charging case or charging cart. This can result in stripped wires, bent or broken USB plugs, or the end of the cable becoming lodged in the device’s USB port. Similar damage can also occur due to improper use of the hand controllers while they are connected to the headsets.
To ensure the cables and ports on both the headsets and USB charging hubs remain in good condition, please unplug the USB cables from the headsets carefully before use. Do not attempt to use the devices while they are still connected to the charging case or charging cart. We recommend that a responsible adult handle the plugging and unplugging of both the headsets and hand controllers during each use.
