Finding the Model Name and Serial Number of a ClassVR Headset
Applies to: CVR-155-A / CVR-255 / CVR-255-64 / CVR-255-64-A / CVR-355-128 (Xplorer) / CVR-655-128 (Xcelerate)
Why This Is Important
When logging a hardware issue with ClassVR Support, you’ll need to provide:
- Model name of the headset
- Serial number of the affected unit
Providing these details helps us process your request quickly and ensure the correct replacement parts or support procedures.
Finding the Model Name
The model name is printed on the bottom of the device.
Finding the Serial Number
The serial number location depends on the headset model:
CVR-355-128 (Xplorer)
- Serial number location is the same as the CVR-255-64 – under the foam face pad, right-hand side.
CVR-655-128 (Xcelerate)
- Located underneath the padding on the battery section.
CVR-255-64 & CVR-255-64-A
- Located under the foam face pad, usually on the right-hand side.
CVR-255
- Located under the foam face pad, usually at the top of the headset.
CVR-155-A
- Located on the bottom of the device, next to the port.
Tip for Providing Photos to Support
When sending photos to support@classvr.com:
- Take a clear, close-up photo of the serial number.
- Include a second photo showing the entire headset for reference.
