Issues charging or using the USB ports on the ClassVR headsets
If the devices are not charging when plugged in, or the hand controllers are not functioning correctly:
- Ensure that the USB cable is securely plugged into the USB port on the headset.
- Check that the USB port on the headset is not damaged or blocked in any way.
- Try a different cable/controller.

- Issues with charging
If the device does not appear to be charging when a charge cable is inserted, please refer to this article. - Check the hand controller is working
You can do this by plugging the hand controller into another headset. - Clean the USB port
If there is any debris in the USB port, this will need to be cleaned out before use. You may need to speak to your IT provider as this is a delicate process. - Restart the Device
If there is enough charge in the headset, please try restarting it and then plugging the charger or hand controller in again.
- USB Adapter
If you are using the CVR-155-A headset, you will need a USB-C to USB-A adapter to use a hand controller. However, you can also use the controls on the side of the CVR-155-A headset.
