Damaged or Worn QR Cube

QR Cube Care and Damage Prevention

The current ClassVR QR Cube is made from foam with a soft plastic printed exterior, designed to be comfortable to hold during use.

Potential Damage from Improper Use

While durable in normal classroom use, the cube can be damaged if:

  • Bounced or thrown
  • Used for games not intended for the classroom
  • Scraped against rough surfaces
  • Improperly stored with heavy or sharp objects

Damage may include:

  • Chips and gouges in the foam structure
  • Worn or rubbed-off printed QR faces, which will stop the cube from being recognised by headsets for augmented reality use

Best Practices for Care

  • Ensure the QR Cube is used responsibly during lessons.
  • Store the cube in an appropriate container, box, or drawer when not in use.
  • Avoid leaving it in areas where it can be stepped on or crushed.
