Damaged ClassVR Headsets
If your headset has sustained physical damage, including (but not limited to):
- Cracked case
- Cracked or scratched lenses
- Damaged foam padding
- Cover coming loose (e.g., faceplate or lens housing)
- Missing fascia panel or camera cover
- Damaged buttons (unresponsive, stuck, or loose)
- Damaged USB port
- Damaged head strap (torn, detached, or broken adjustment points)
- Discoloured or heat/sun-damaged LCD screen (including dead pixels)
- Internal component rattling (loose parts inside the headset)
- Cracks in the lens mounts or internal housing
- Loose or misaligned internal sensors (causing visual tracking issues)
Next Steps
In most cases, the headset will need to be returned to Avantis for repair.
- Gather required information:
- Serial number of each affected headset
- Proof of purchase
- Clear photos of the damage
